Photographing women in black and white offers a timeless canvas to explore both sensuality and professionalism through striking contrasts and subtle textures.
The absence of color focuses attention on form, expression, and the interplay of light and shadow, creating images that are both evocative and empowering. Sensual portraits capture the grace of soft curves, the depth of gazes, and the intimate allure of vulnerability, celebrating femininity in its raw, authentic form.
Meanwhile, professional portraits exude strength and sophistication, highlighting confident postures, tailored lines, and poised gestures. In monochrome, every detail, from the glint of an eye to the contour of a jawline, becomes a powerful statement, embodying the complexity and duality of modern womanhood. Each shot tells a story, balancing strength and sensitivity with elegant simplicity.
Photographing sensual nude women in black and white is an art form that celebrates the beauty of the human body with elegance and emotion.
The absence of color directs focus to the interplay of light and shadow, accentuating contours, textures, and subtle details that might otherwise be overlooked. This timeless medium allows for a balance between intimacy and artistry, transforming vulnerability into a powerful expression of confidence and self-awareness.
Each image tells a story of form and feeling, where soft lighting and thoughtful composition create a mood that is as evocative as it is respectful. The monochrome palette strips away distractions, leaving raw emotion and the pure essence of human beauty to take center stage, offering a profound connection between subject and viewer.
Colour… Yes your eyes do not deceive you.
Worship is a photography project born from my fascination with the things we collect and the stories they tell. As a photographer and a collector myself, I’ve always been intrigued by the objects people cherish—vinyl records, stamps, coins, and so much more. These collections are more than just assemblages of items; they are reflections of our passions, memories, and identities.
The first two shots with Caitlyn include several hundred of my own vinyl records, no vinyl was harmed in the making of these images
Photographing wildlife in the UK offers a thrilling blend of nature’s beauty and urban intrigue, as animals navigate both untamed landscapes and bustling cities.
The juxtaposition of wild creatures against manmade backdrops, such as a deer wondering down streets or a fox relaxing in a garden, highlights the resilience and adaptability of nature. The challenge lies in capturing fleeting, candid moments while preserving the delicate balance between human presence and wildlife.
Capturing images at a protest in the UK is an electrifying experience, filled with raw emotion and dynamic energy. The vibrant chants, challenging banners, and diverse faces tell powerful stories of resilience and unity. The atmosphere is charged with a mix of tension and hope, as moments of solidarity unfold alongside passionate clashes of opinion. As a photographer, every frame feels like a heartbeat of history, each click immortalising the pulse of social change. From the intricate details of a placard to the sweeping drama of a sea of protesters, the visual narrative is as compelling as it is unpredictable.
Photographing sporting events like MMA and motorbike racing in black and white transforms the raw intensity of these high-octane activities into timeless works of art.
Stripping away color emphasizes the drama, motion, and emotion that define these sports, capturing the grit of an MMA fighter’s determined expression or the blurred speed of a motorbike leaning into a sharp turn.
The stark contrasts highlight muscle definition, sweat, and grit in the cage, while racing tracks become dynamic landscapes of light and shadow. Black and white brings an almost cinematic quality, immortalizing split-second moments—like a decisive punch or the spray of gravel from a tire, in a way that feels both visceral and poetic.
This medium allows the focus to shift from spectacle to story, celebrating the passion and perseverance at the heart of sport.
Photographing street scenes across the UK in black and white offers a timeless perspective on the country’s rich tapestry of urban life and culture. From the bustling markets of London’s East End to the historic charm of Canterbury’s cobbled streets, black and white distills the essence of each scene into a study of contrasts and textures.
The play of light and shadow accentuates fleeting moments: a weathered face in quiet contemplation, the sharp lines of modern architecture against Victorian facades, or the ripple of rain puddles reflecting passing figures. Without the distraction of color, the focus shifts to emotion, form, and narrative, allowing everyday interactions and environments to take on a cinematic quality.
Street photography in monochrome becomes an exploration of timelessness, revealing the character and soul of the UK’s urban landscapes.
Photographing the diverse scapes across England offers a hauntingly beautiful glimpse into the passage of time and nature’s quiet resilience. From the skeletal remains of boat wrecks along rugged coastlines to the ethereal stillness of foggy mornings blanketing ancient moors, each scene tells a story steeped in history and mystery.
Derelict buildings, with their crumbling facades and overgrown edges, evoke a poignant sense of decay and forgotten lives, creating striking contrasts against nature’s steady reclamation.
These landscapes, captured thoughtfully, reveal a world where beauty and melancholy intertwine, each image imbued with a sense of wonder and quiet reflection.
I don’t normally shoot this type of topic, but now I’ve started I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Because I’m stripping out the colour from the images, which is a pivotal element in flowers, I have to look at structure and contrast.
Geekrotica is a bold and imaginative project that fuses sensuality with the intrigue of science fiction, offering a fresh and creative take on artistic photography.
As my first personal endeavor (first started in 2012), it celebrates individuality and fantasy through striking black-and-white imagery, capturing the allure of women adorned in various sci-fi masks. The monochrome palette enhances the mysterious and provocative atmosphere, with the masks symbolizing a fusion of anonymity and identity, creating a space where confidence and curiosity intersect. Each image tells a story, blending the elegance of the human form with the futuristic edge of genre-inspired design. Geekrotica pushes boundaries, inviting viewers to explore the interplay of sensuality, creativity, and fandom in a way that’s as playful as it is profound.
This project started when I was still shooting in colour and was used across on t-shirts and skateboards with my old brand called Delinquent. Since then I have converted into black and white and much happier with them.
Shooting architecture in London, particularly its modern, dynamic buildings, offers a chance to capture the city’s bold skyline as it soars skyward. Iconic structures like The Shard, the Gherkin, and the Walkie Talkie showcase a striking interplay of glass, steel, and innovative design.
I tend to aim skyward, emphasising the dramatic lines, reflective surfaces, and the sense of scale that these architectural marvels create. The juxtaposition of these contemporary towers against London’s historical backdrop adds depth and contrast, making the city a vibrant playground for creative architectural photography.
Collapse is my new project (2025). Exploring the symbolic and tangible decline of America's foundational ideals, institutions, and identity. Through striking visual metaphors, the series examines the fragility of the American Dream and the unraveling of the nation's economic and societal fabric.
Starting with an American silver coin, emblematic of wealth, power, and stability, marred by a bullet's violent impact. This stark depiction of destruction symbolises the collapse of the American dollar and the broader economic instability threatening the nation and the wider world.

“Had a lovely shoot with Marc. His pre-shoot communications were excellent, he discussed in depth the type of shots he wanted to get and on the day was right on time!
From the off-set Marc was friendly, considerate and really easy to get along with, he ensured he brought food and snacks to the shoot and made sure I rested and comfortable at all times. Marc also comes very well prepared for his shoots, he brings plenty of props as well as a large printed mood board to help guide our ideas. During the shoot Marc is highly creative and experimental, trying a whole range of lighting ideas, angles, props and styles. This means Marc produces a plethora of images with different moods and merit, all of a really high and beautiful quality. Overall, Marc is a really friendly lovely guy, an excellent photographer and someone I would have no qualms about recommending to anyone”

“I shot with Marc a couple of months ago (sorry for delay!), and I remember it as the funniest shoot I've ever had at my place!
Besides being a skilled photographer, he's a super nice person, really easy to talk and work with him. I loved his positive energy and how interested he is in getting to know you and creating a nice atmosphere. I think he doesn't care much about the number of shots he gets, but about the quality and catch the right moment.
We worked for about 3 hours talking, laughing and having fun, which is the key to creating beautiful images!
The photos he took in the end were great and I really hope to work with him again in the future, really highly recommended. Thanks Marco, see you soon!”

I've worked for the first time with Marc last week on a one-to-one, checking out the spots we were going to use for his first workshop today and Marc was great both times.
As you can see from his profile, he is a very good photographer and knows how to create striking and interesting images. But he's also great to be around, super relaxed, and laid back! Today he held his first workshop and I was quite impressed by someone doing it for the first time. He was super well organized, made sure everyone was happy, and helped everyone equally. We also had a nice coffee break in between, so it was very professional but also very relaxed!
I would definitely recommend Marc as a photographer and event planner! Thanks for all the effort you put in Marc, you rocked it! I look forward to working with him again in the future!”

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Marc several times over the last few years and the most recent time being yesterday at my home. It was so lovely to catch up and shoot again. Pre-comms were great and Marc told me his ideas and sent me some reference images beforehand so I knew what he wanted to achieve on the day. Marc came prepared with his equipment including lights, cameras and props such as a huge telescopic camera, beautiful flowers, glass bottles of coke, a straw that kept fizzing the coke haha and other items. We managed to fit in several different looks/sets and each one looked amazing on the back of his camera. As you can see from his photos, he is incredibly talented and knows exactly what he is doing to get the most amazing photos. Marc is relaxed, easy going, professional, respectful and is an overall joy to work with. We always have a laugh and lots of fun too! I highly recommend Marc to other models”

Looking at the rest of Marc's references, I'm sure it'll come as no surprise that our shoot today was absolutely brilliant. He had a very clear vision and knew exactly what he was doing, but was totally relaxed and open to any ideas I brought to the table too. It was such a chilled shoot and the 4 hours went by like nothing. He's so professional but such fun to shoot with, it was definitely one of my favourite shoots to date. If you get the chance to work with him, take it! Thank you for such an awesome time”

The year 2020 will always be remembered as a time of profound change, challenge, and unexpected creativity. For my family and I, it was also the year we stumbled upon a simple yet profoundly rewarding hobby, black and white toy photography. What started as a project to stave off the boredom of lockdown has evolved into a cherished creative outlet that continues to inspire us to this day.
