The day before full lockdown in the UK I decided to board a train out of pure fascination and intrigue and have a wonder around London.
It was very eerie walking around London at time when not many people knew what was going on, or the true threat of Covid19
I saw a handful of people on my wonder, mainly those who worked on public transport.
The main tourist attractions in London, like the National Gallery, were so quiet, it put a chill up your spine, like something from I Am Legend. It was like the dawn of a new age, that never actually came.
The places that are usually full of people, tourists, skateboarders, people going too and from work, runners, cyclists, all gone.
Do you think if this sort of lockdown was forced on a population again, theyβd be so willing to accept it when we know that those in power ignored the rules themselves?
